A company in Derby by the name of Bemrose published many calendars and used Russell Flint's images to decorate their calendars, which became quite collectable in the 1960s
Most of these calendars have now been thrown away, lost or the images have badly faded over the years... the printing was basic and they would not use light fast inks to produce calendars.
We should like to catalogue all the images that have been printed, but even many years after, a new one appears that no one has seen.
This could well be a summer scene of girls enjoying an afternoon by the banks of the Ardeche or Rhone rivers,
The countryside and mountaineous backdrop suggests the former.
