We have at present the original painting of this published watercolour.
It is quite rare to acquire a published original, and interesting to compare with the limited edition print.
Barbaste is in the Lot-Garonne department of south west France, just below Laverdac, another of Russell Flint's favourite painting locations.
The Moulin des Tours de Barbaste is a picturesque fortress-like 13th-century mill that stands on the right bank of the Gélise near Nérac.
