Four sisters; four Cecilias that is - in a vaulted cellar at Chazelet.
Chazelet is a small hamlet most visited for its 15th century turretted castle,
and lies eight miles south west of the Indre town of Argenton-sur-Creuse,
itself halfway between Vierzon and Limoges.
This signed limited edition print has always been very highly regarded amongst Russell Flint's published work, and infact is not unsimilar to an original he painted for his housekeeper,
as a thank you for the years of help and devotion she offered to both him and his wife who had become poorly.

The figures in the painting are all Cecilia Green in variuos poses.
